Hernandez Family

Prime Roofing is a minority family owned and operated by founders Jose and Gloria Hernandez. Married for 16 years and have two sons, Alberto and Mateo. Jose, born in Leon, Gto. Mexico migrate to California at the age of 16. Jose, started his roofing journey back when he was 17 years old. He started working for one of the top roofing companies in Southern California. He began as a journey man within a few years managing large commercial and government roofing projects. Jose, determine to gain as much knowledge as possible to one day meet his goal and build his own roofing business. Now, Jose has  been growing and successfully operating Prime Roofing along with his wife, Gloria. Jose's integrity, strong work ethic, and devotion to excellence are evident in every project he is involved. Jose brings exceptional leadership to his team.

Gloria, was born and raised in Oxnard, Ca. She is a diverse indiviual bring years of experience in business administrations and business development, marketing and finances.  She is excellent in coordinating and multi-tasking the daily aspects of running a successful roofing company. Always making sure their customers are treated with respect. Being the wife of a roofer for so many years  she grew interest in the roofing industry.

My role at Prime Roofing is to personally oversee all roofing projects. I spend most of my time on-site, hands on - managing projects from start to finish. Leading my team in every step of the way.  I take pride in my technical knowledge of the roofing industry (17 years of Experience)  materials and trends and always push myself to stay on the cutting edge of the latest developments. 

When I am not helping property owners to find cost effective and efficient solutions for their roofing needs, you might find me at the soccer field and gym with my 15 year old son. 

Gloria Fernandez

Director of Administration

As the director of administration,  my role is to walk customers through the entire process. From the initial consultation to obtaining permits, scheduling repairs and overseeing contracts, I am your trail guide.  I understand that this is like a foreign language to most of our clients, so I make it my mission to reduce the stress, confusion and streamline in every way possible.  You may also see me on-site  from running quality control checks to takingsome cool aerial photos using the drone. This helping me provide a detail report of all work being perform for your records. 

I am passionate about educating Prime Roofing customers and honoring the trust that they place in our company when they choose us to help with their roofing needs.

When I am not at Prime Roofing, you can find me managing my most important customers, my two kids. A very energetic One year old and an athlete teenager on the soccer field.
